Nominating Committee Looking for Candidates for 2012 Convention!

Maybe by the time this is printed, spring may have finally sprung! As chairman of the Nominating Committee, I would like to announce that we are ready to “spring” into action as well. We pray that God would plant the seeds of desire in many women to serve in the ND LWML and that they would grow into the candidates that our Lord would have consider the call to serve. We pray that He would water them with His Word and Sacraments to grow in His love and understanding of mission service so that they will accept the candidacy with confidence and assurance that the Lord will guide them as they bloom into leadership positions if elected at the 2012 convention in Grand Forks next summer.
Please pray for potential nominees for the following positions: President; VP of Mission Grants; VP of Human Care; VP of Communication (a newly added office, in the case of a bylaws change); Treasurer; Pastoral Counselor. Nominees must be ND LWML members, must have held an office in their society or zone, and nominees for president must have served as a voting member of the ND LWML BOD prior to being nominated for president.
The nominating committee members are: Paulette Huber, Chairman; Carol Kosel, Ruth Walsh, Judy Ill, Susan Hiatt, and Phyllis Lentz. Even though the convention is a year away, it is time for us to acquire names possibly at Zone Rallies, by e-mail, or any other way the Lord may use. Please join our committee in praying for the right people to blossom into the candidates for our beloved ND LWML. Please help us “spring” into action to find the person in the “season” of their life, rooted and ready to serve and shine for Him!
–Paulette Huber, Nominating Committee Chairman
